The Lan Hai International Golf Club's two eighteen-hole tournament-level golf courses will both open this year, with all 36 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus, Jr., making these the first golf courses in Asia to be designed by this legendary father-and-son team. The unique geographical location in the bay and the island's natural terrain create perfect conditions for holding professional tournaments, so Lan Hai will undoubtedly become the center of world-class golfing events for a long time to come.
Jack Nicklaus fused the design concepts of high-end golf courses in Scotland and Australia into the design of the Lan Hai golf course, using the classic "rough edges" style sand traps of this type of course and adding a "green" golfing feel to create a course that even the greatest golfers will find exhilarating.
In terms of the promotion and management of the golf courses, Lan Hai has joined with the professional sports media entertainment and management team of IMG. This management team has invested a great amount of energy to prepare Lan Hai for being able to host world-class golf championships in the future.
